Shortlisted Law Graduates Of IMSU To Receive Free Professional Study Fees From IMSG

The lucky shortlisted Law graduates of Imo state University IMSU Owerri will receive a whooping free professional school fees from Governor Hope Uzodinma CON.

This information came as a surprise to the 2023 Law graduates of IMSU who are awaiting law students shortlisted for onward procession to the law school.

Governor Hope Uzodinma took the Imo State indigenes who graduated from the Imo State University (IMSU) and have been shortlisted for the 2023 Law School by surprise.

The Governor has offered to pay their school fees for the programme to put smiles in their faces and to encourage other students to take their education serious.

Each of the lucky Law School students from Imo State scheduled for the programme is to be credited with N500,000 by Governor Uzodinma with the bank accounts they have been directed to provide.

Meanwhile, the hundred and seven (107) beneficiaries of the Governor’s IMSU 2023 Law School scholarship cuts across the twenty seven (27) Local Government Area of the State as stated by the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, Hon Oguike Nwachukwu.

The statement further stated that Governor Uzodinma is not new to philanthropy and has continued to leave a life of giving which he cultivated as a young man, and as an accomplished businessman, before joining politics.

“Thousands of persons, within and outside Imo State, have benefitted from Governor Uzodinma’s scholarship and other charity orientated programmes that are borne out of his generosity of heart.

“His believe in quality human capital development as key to unlocking the potential of every society, which is second to none, keeps encouraging him to invest in people.

The law students will no doubt be happy and will ever remain thankful to His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma over this noble development.

One of the law graduates who pleaded anonymous with our correspondent said he was even surprised when the collation of account numbers by government agents came onboard and behold the disbursement has started in earnest.

“I am very thankful to Governor Hope Uzodinma while praying for the sustenance of such a noble gesture encouraging the youths to develop more talents and be serious with studies.
