AKURE (9News Nigeria) – The remains of the late Ondo state commissioner for Health Dr. Wahab Adegbenro who died of Corona Virus disease was laid to rest today, July 3rd 2020 in Ondo state’s capital, Akure.
However, 9News Nigeria correspondent observed that there was a massive violation of the Social Distancing order at the late health commissioner’s burial ceremony. Social distancing order was issued nation-wide by Nigeria’s Health Authorities as a measure to curtail the spread of the dreaded disease code-named Covid-19.
In photos shared to 9News Nigeria, Members of the Ondo state government house, APC members, the deceased’s family members and friends as well as community sympathisers were seen clogging around each other without any atom of sensitivity to the social distancing requirement.
