Sergio Ramos was left in tears after Spain lost surprisingly to Russia in the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup.
Spain have now joined the squad of Germany, Portugal and Argentina to have been knocked out of the 2018 World Cup.
The game was to be decided by the first penalty shoot-out of the 2018 World Cup and Andres Iniesta stepped up first to ease some Spanish nerves.
Nobody missed after the first four penalties but Spain were on the ropes when Koke saw his effort parried away by Akinfeev.
While the Russia players jumped around in celebration, the Spanish players such as Ramos could be seen slumped on the pitch in tears.
