Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested 30-year-old man, Idi Adamu, for alleged sexual assault on his one-year old stepdaughter.
The Adamawa State Police Command, confirmed the arrest of Adamu in a statement on Friday, 3 May, 2024 by its spokesman, SP Suleiman Ngurore.
According to Ngurore, said the suspect was arrested earlier on Wednesday, I May, 2024
The statement explained that Idi Adamu, a resident of Wuro Ardo in Mubi North Local Government Area, was picked up after a complaint by the mother of the victim and wife of the suspect.
