In a bid to reduce all forms of social vices in Ikeduru local government area in particular and Imo State in general in order to improve public sanity, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (SamDaddy) is determined to fight against kidnapping, hostage taking and human rights abuses.

This followed various complaints of constitutional breaches against fundamental human rights of Nigerian citizens, he assured of his willingness to use all necessary legal channels available to correct the abnormally.

Senator Anyanwu, as part of his Corporate Social Responsibility, promised to restore public confidence by designing a programme on advocacy and awareness campaign in collaboration with National Human Rights Commission with a view to nipping the ugly trend in the bud.

The programme billed for Saturday, 26th September 2020 in Owerri, the Imo State capital would proffer solutions geared towards protecting the rights and privileges of the citizenry.

On a chat with 9News correspondent in Imo, Samdaddy therefore advised Nigerians and the general public to utilize the opportunity judiciously, saying that the event would be an eye opener to those whose rights were infringed, but kept adamant due to the fear that they may be denied justice after spending huge money.
