Operatives of Odo-Noforija Police Division have arrested one Samson Oghenebreme, 25, in Odomola Commuinity, Epe, for being in possession of human organs.

The arrest, which happened on April 25, 2025, followed the receipt of credible information from the members of the public about suspicious movement of the suspect.

According to police, the suspect was allegedly moving the human parts to Edo State to deliver them to a native doctor in suspected money-making rituals.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos Command Spokesperson, made this known on Friday.

The recovered human organs have been deposited at the General Hospital, Epe, for preservation.

According to the police, the case has been transferred to Edo State Police Command for continuation of investigation and prosecution.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, assured the public that the Command remains fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property across the state.
