Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has slammed the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, over a statement saying she needs help.

9news Nigeria reports that in a statement on Instagram on Thursday, Rollas said many colleagues in the industry are aware of Regina Daniels’ health status but have chosen to speak ill of her behind her back.

He recounted an incident in which senior colleagues, including Okey Bakassi, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, and others, witnessed Regina’s attitude on a movie set and knew she indeed needed help.

The AGN president also recalled how Nwoko publicly drew his attention to Regina Daniels‘ health concerns during their son’s birthday party sometime ago.

He also berated Regina Daniel’s mum, Rita, for pursuing her ambition to become the AGN President, given that her daughter’s home and health are of great concern.

While dismissing claims that Ned Nwoko has been funding the AGN, Emeka Rollas frowned at the lawmaker for bringing Regina’s health concerns to the public space.

In response, Regina Daniels in a post on Instagram, claimed that Rollas’s bitterness against her stems from the fact that she stopped him from bringing women to her home to take swimming lessons.

According to the movie star, Emeka Rollas has no achievements as the president of the AGN, rather than visiting the homes of high-profile men with women.

Regina Daniels also faulted Rollas for discrediting her mother, Rita, despite everything she had done for him in the past.

She wrote, “AGN President, respectfully, there must be something wrong with you sir! To say I need help? You have no business spewing nonsense about my family or my mum who always sung your praises but I wouldn’t because as an established actor from childhood yo my prime, having witnessing your inauguration in my early years, I say you are a disgrace of a president who just who just visits one office to the other enriching his pocket in guise of catering to the wellbeing of actors. If not, tell me why you haven’t enforced anything on actors protecting and residual in 8 years.

“The only notable impact on the guild is the office you opened recently, after 7 years, and much criticism from people, who my family were major sponsors of. Well, I’m not shocked because that’s how you get paid, bringing down women in my family home several times to take swimming lessons, which I warned you of, hence your bitterness. Actually, that’s what you ‘ve always sone to the high-profile men you visit to lure them with women so your pocket can get bigger.

“What happened to the fatherly figure I admired solely because of the respect and devotion my mum had for you. I already know so I can say for a fact that you were paid chicken change to speak nonsense about a child that benefited under your administration instead gave you the bigger honour you have through my ex-husband and mother so you should be thankful to my mother for introducing you to him. I’m still in awe that you would try to discredit my mother’s election and diminish her efforts after all she has done for you.

“In support of my mother’s election, I feel like she has paid her dues in the industry and would be a perfect figurehead to represent actor. Take it or leave it for a movie industry with the beauty that come with the understanding of being on screen needs a beautiful chair lady with advanced male advisors to take us to any level in the society. I don’t like rubbish. (Sic)”

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has spoken publicly about the emotional toll of her ongoing marital crisis with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, expressing deep sadness and heartbreak.

Daniels, in a post shared on her Instagram page, reflected on the complexity of her situation, saying life often unfolds in ways one does not expect.

The actress, who has been at the centre of a public marital controversy for weeks, admitted that she is struggling emotionally.

Regina described sadness as both mentally and physically exhausting, emphasising the importance of finding joy in small, everyday moments.

According to her, she remains her own most significant source of encouragement.

She wrote, “Life is actually funny. It’s very funny, I’m sad or heartbroken. I’m now seated at the very chair I tried to raise people up from. I hate sad people. I always believe it’s better to die than to be sad, and death is not an option, but it’s very easy, trust me. I’m an advocate for happiness in the tiniest things, such as food lol. Sadness is spiritually and physically draining. Life equals living. Just live.

“Funny part? I’m my biggest motivation. I cry, look at myself in the mirror and then wipe them! When I reason responsibilities and demons to deaf, I’m not mad to shut the fuck up!”

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has expressed worry over the whereabouts of her younger brother, Sammy Daniels, who was allegedly arrested and denied access to his family and legal aid.

This is amid the ongoing controversy rocking her marriage.

The actress, who took to her verified Instagram page on Wednesday, called on law enforcement agencies to account for her brother, whom she claimed has been held incommunicado for over 24 hours.

“Finally, some people now have a video that can make them think they can mock me, chai! But it’s okay. My entire focus right now is to know the whereabouts of my brother. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!!” she wrote.

Regina also slammed what she described as the inaction of senior police officers over the matter.

“Imagine one of the highest authorities in the police force, or if not the highest, saying his hands are tied! Like, ogini bu ihe!” she lamented.

The actress, however, vowed not to be intimidated, saying the issue had now become a battle of strength and willpower.

“Now this fight is going to be power for power, or rather aura for aura. It’s such a pity. #FreeSammy. For the record, I don’t regret anything. Na only I carry my leg, but this was a route I was meant to take, not my final destination,” she declared.

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has advised her colleague Regina Daniels to leave her marriage following allegations of domestic violence by the latter against her husband, Ned Nwoko.

In a blunt post on Instagram, Jegede urged Regina Daniels to divorce her husband if the allegations of domestic violence are true, stressing that violence is a deal breaker regardless of the gender that is affected.

She encouraged Regina to take the bold step, noting that she is still very young.

She wrote, “Regina you are still very young, if there’s violence in your marriage, please carry your bag. There is never sugarcoating for me as long as violence is involved (both for man and woman).”

Jegede urged Regina Daniels to prioritise her sanity and her sons in whatever decision she is going to make regarding her marital crisis.
