Take Responsibility, protect yourself and people around you _ NCDC

The Nigeria Center of Disease Control has said that the covid19 cases keeps increasing in number and everyone should take proper precautions.

Recall that the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019. (COVID-19) is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The first confirmed case in Nigeria was announced on 27 February 2020, when an Italian citizen in Lagos tested positive for the virus. On 9 March 2020, a second case of the virus was reported in Ewekoro, Ogun State, a Nigerian citizen who had contact with the Italian citizen.

During this outbreak of the pandemic since 27th February, 2020 a lot of lives has been lost and the death cases keeps increasing up until this moment.

It is necessary that Nigerian citizens protect themselves from the virus to avoid being a victim by observing the accurate precautions such as putting on a face mask, wash your hands everyday with a hand sanitizer and most importantly observe social distancing.
