One of the known Die-Hard supporter of the Government of Imo state under his distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, has appraised the undiluted approach of the governor to the restoration of Security and peace in Imo state.
Sir Nwamkpa MODESTUS in his submissions stated categorically the reason WHY INSECURITY SUDDENLY RESURFACED IN IMO.
Speaking to 9News Nigeria in Owerri, the capital city of Imo state, the special adviser to the governor on online media, Nwamkpa hinted that the recent insecurity situation in Imo state is man made and highly orchestrated.
In his words, “It is as simple as that. The question is: why did the situation suddenly emerge in Imo?. Whether you call it Unknown Gun Men or ESN or anything, the truth is that it is planned, instigated and sponsored.
“But the good news is that Imo state is fortunate to have a Governor who is prepared for the job. Imo has a Governor who is very proactive, courageous and dogged. Governor Uzodimma can be likened to a Rubber Band whose strength is better seen when stretched.
“The recent insecurity challenge in the state has brought out that strong character in the Governor. It has brought out the best from him.
He however stated that the insecurity situation in Imo state started immediately the Governor decided to implement the White Paper report and equally resolved to call certain actions of the past by certain persons to question.
According to Nwamkpa, “I tell you that if Governor Hope Uzodimma had decided to allow everything that was done in the past to go down the drain, we could not have been witnessing all the insecurity challenges we are seeing today. This is the truth.
Again, because Governor Uzodimma came and some people felt displaced, that became a problem. They also saw that the Governor is gradually changing the narrative and doing quality roads in Imo, they quickly resolved to orchestrate insecurity issue just to divert the attention of the people who had already started seeing different approach to Governance under Governor Hope Uzodimma. They now turn around to accuse the Governor of being behind it when they are actually the people wickedly sponsoring the atracks.
Of course, nobody will sponsor attack against himself. It defeats every rational reasoning.This is an incontrovertible facts.
Nwamkpa added that they saw that with the way Governor Uzodimma is going, very soon, Imo people may stone them having seen that they wasted and squandered their resources in the past without achieving anything. They saw that Governor Uzodimma having vowed never to tamper with Imo money and he is demonstrating that by putting his appetite under check, they knew that Imo people will soon start spitting on them for mindlessly stealing Imo dry during their times.
So these are the reasons why you see these burnings, shootings and killings in Imo recently but I can tell you that God Almighty who made Sen Uzodimma Governor is in charge. They can gather, they can plan and they can conspire but God is there to raise a standard against them all. You want to destroy your state simply because you want to cover up your deeds, let God judge you.
He did not mince words to stat that Imo will definitely prevail.
“That which they are struggling to cover from Imo people by using insecurity will be exposed. Governor Uzodimma will never be distracted. He will continue to provide quality leadership and will continue to deliver quality infrastructure in Imo. He has a clear cut mandate from God and he will not depart from his vow to God and his social contract with Imo people.
In his conclusion, Nwamkpa prayer was that every evil plans against Imo people be exposed.
