Today, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi, FNSE, FNATE was captured by our camera in a happy father -to- son conversation mood with the immidiate past Governor of Ebonyi State, HE. Chief Martin Elechi.
Umahi has maintained that peace cross board, and is one of his major achievements as Governor of Ebonyi State.
He has been nominated on several occasions to head national committee on conflict resolution, a position he handled with every sense of commitment and ensured that peace returned across the country especially in the farmers/headers conflict affected States.
Governor Umahi has also resolved several interstate/inter communal crisis within and outside Ebonyi state.
A good example is a case of the Ezza-Ezzilo crisis which had consumed several lives and properties before his intervention which brought it to immediate end.
Undoubtedly, Umahi is a governor without segregation and discrimination spirit as he has kept on proving the doubting Thomases.
In the pictures which were taken at the wedding ceremony between Dr. Ugochi Uguru and Dr. David Ogbonna at Methodist Church Nigeria, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Umahi and Elechi were truly happy without rancour of any kind which is a proof of total peace among the two leaders of Ebonyi State.
