With anul unwavering commitment to progress,this year’s conference delves into two crucial pillars shaping Lagos’s future. ‘The creative Economy “and “A Digital Lagos ” curated by the Eko innovation center in collaboration with the Lagos state Government. We met a diverse line up of artists, technologist and futurists to discuss the ideas that will redefine our world.
Olatubosun Lake,convener of the conference and commissioner for innovation, science and Technology Lagos state delved into the two key factors that will shape the future landscape of Lagos state. Victor Afolabi,curator of the Art of Technology Lagos added that technology in its multifaceted forms serves as a tool box for creators and innovators, offering new mediums,tools, platforms,and method for expression and problem solving.
Some highlights of this year’s conference include exploring synergies between creativity and technology, examining the digital transformation of Lagos, collaboration, networking and engagement with industry stakeholders and experts,as well as empowerment of creatives by equipping them with tools to navigate the evolving landscape.
The first plenary session was in full swing, exploring the theme “Monetization of the Creative Economy Leveraging Technology.”

The Curator believes the event will further facilitate more synergy between corporate bodies and the government in achieving the next technological Phase in Lagos.
The Executive Governor Mr Babajide Sanwoolu reiterate the commitment of his government towards a sustainable technology development as it’s already evident that framework sketch up is being implemented to facilitate the Socio Economy growth in the state.
The program also witnessed insightful journey from the stable of a filmmaker and ace director Mr Kunle Afolayan, He shared his journey through the creative industry, the impact of technology and this have transcended to producing movies competing with the world Standard. He reiterated the impact of the government towards achieving this feat and the interest of the lagos state government in Facilitate more development in the sector. He shared the development in hub KABHUB situated on the island that features indigenous creative work and Meals bring togetherness and keeping memories alive.
The Commissioner for Technology during his presentation highlights the importance of this gathering and how participants should maximize the opportunities therein, He relayed several support programs the government have launched to encourage different categories of business so related to Tech and creatives. He believes this avenue will further foster the growth of every individual in the event
