The state of education in the 21st century continues to evolve. The introduction of technological tools to facilitate learning and teaching has made the sharing of knowledge, easier and more accessible. Edutech is short form of Educational Technology- a term used to describe a wide array of teaching and learning software and hardware, which has and continues to be integrated and implemented in secondary and university settings around the world. Edutech’s aim is to improve the learning process and enhance the quality of education for teachers and students alike. Despite the many benefits that Edutech has for the future of education, there are many challenges that need to be addressed. One of which is:How do we adapt and integrate Edutech into the traditional classroom setting, particularly in Africa, where the traditional classroom is still the norm and access to technology is limited?
it is imperative we equally look at how we can reinforce the existing Public- Private Patnership for education to further create an extensive implement of Technological tools for education particularly in the rural developmental areas. This synergy between these two sectors can’t be overemphasized in achieving this feet and it’s important we highlight Strategies that will Facilitate it.
