
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu describes those at the forefront of forming a coalition to unseat him ahead of the 2027 presidential election as persons who have been internally displaced politically.
Tinubu who spoke at a one-day presidential state visit to Nasarawa State on Wednesday, where he inaugurated projects, urged his supporters not to pay attention to his political opponents as they were in a coalition to unseat him.
Speaking about the alleged opposition of force coalition that include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, President Tinubu criticized the alliance as immature and foolish political ploy.
“Those who have triggered the early politics in the perdition of coalition suddenly. Don’t pay them any attention, they are the political IDPs. Don’t give them a home, the hope is here”, the President said.
He made it plain that he would not remain silent as opponents planned to overthrow him.
“I’m not geared for what they tried to pull on me, early political campaign but who is the politician who will keep quiet when the gangsters are forming a coalition to unseat themselves”.
The President, however commended the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, for bringing development to the state and pledged his administration’s support for the governor to move the state forward.
