Violence erupted in Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, as thugs went on a rampage, shooting at innocent voters who had come out to cast their ballots in the ongoing local government elections.
According to Eyewitnesses, the attackers, armed with guns, opened fire on residents at polling stations, causing chaos and forcing many to flee for safety.
