President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the days of empty promises and abandoned projects are over, stating that development is a right enjoyed by all, not privilege reserved for a few.
The President made this declaration on Friday July 4, during the declaration of the newly rehabilitated Aguma Palace-Radio Nigeria -New Market road in Gwagwalada, built by the Nyesom Wike – led Federal Capital Territory Administration.
Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, President Tinubu said the road is a corridor of dignity for market women, and a road to prosperity for traders.
According to the President, the days of empty promises and abandoned projects are behind as he praised the FCT Administration, led by Barrister Nyesom Wike, for providing that disruption is not a threat to order but a requirement for progress.
President Tinubu notes that for too long, communities outside the city centre have watched development from a distance, but his administration is committed to rewriting that history.
