Former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu “Is gone”.
The former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, made the statement during an interview on Arise Television -Prime Time on Monday.
He criticized the President’s performance, saying he has failed in areas such as security, the economy, and trade.
“We have to ask the people to make up their minds, do you like what is happening? This is just two years. If your life has not gotten better since Tinubu was sworn in on May 29, 2023, fine, but If not why not give some other people a chance?”, El-Rufai asked.
He added: “We have done some polling in many parts of the country, particularly in the Southeast and the North, President Tinubu has a 91% disapproval rating, even in Lagos he has 78% disapproval rating.
“In states in the Southwest he is doing a bit better – Ondo and Ekiti – he is doing better than 78% disprove rating, there is no where he is doing better than 50%, even in Southwest .
“The guy is gone, he has performed miserably. The economy has stopped, the insecurity architecture has failed, there are no clear trade and investment policies, and everything is going wrong.
“They are raising lots of revenues but we don’t know where the revenues are going because there are no results”.
