President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed Minister of Justice to work closely with the National Assembly to address the concerns of Nigerians.
The President, currently in South Africa, gave the marching order in the heel of a protest by some Northern youths in the National Assembly.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris.
Critics argue that the reforms could disrupt the balance of fiscal federalism, potentially centralizing tax authority and diminishing state revenues.
