Apparently, not interested in his party regaining power at the centre in 2027, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be in office for two terms of eight years.
Eno, a governor elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023, disclosed this at the flag-off of the Akwa Ibom section of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project on Tuesday afternoon April 15, 2025.
He said; “Let me end by assuring that our President (Tinubu), our people-loving President, who will complete 8 years because we are going to stand by him, my leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not allow Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway to turn to another East-West Road. He is a father – and a promise keeper”.
Governor Eno also prayed for President Tinubu, asking God to give him good health to complete the work that he started.
Governor Umo Eno added that he will continue to cooperate with the Tinubu’s administration.
