Police operatives in Kogi State have arrested a man in his 20s, simply identified as Jeremiah in connection with the tragic death of Damilola, a 100-level Biology student of Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State.

An X used, DrLove, who reported the incident stated that the suspect, hails from Kaduna State, allegedly abducted the young lady and took her to an uncompleted building.

He proceeded to demand the sum of N400,000 as ransom from her family, but upon receiving the money, he ended her life and removed her vital organs before proceeding to bury her.

After killing her, the suspect then contacted her family again, demanding an additional N10 million.

However, he was tracked down by the Police to his hideout location, where he was eventually arrested.

According to a confession made by Jeremiah, he met Damilola at a gas station and lured her to his hideout, where he ambushed her.
