A suspected armed robbery attack has claimed the life of a Point of Sales (POS) operator in Benue State, after assailants reportedly stormed the business location and made away with cash.
Witnesses said the attackers carried out the assault before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, leaving residents shocked and fearful.
The incident has raised fresh concerns about the safety of POS operators and small business owners in the area.
Authorities are expected to launch an investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible to the gruesome attack.
