
Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has described as terribly sad the death of 3 members of Taraba State Chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE).
Dr. Kefas, in a statement condoled with the labour union while praying for the repose of their souls.
He said the loss is felt not only by the immediate family members of the deceased but by the whole workers in the State.
He noted that the staff died in active service as hard-working individuals contributing their quota to national growth, stressing that their labour was never in vain.
It would be recalled that members of NULGE, Taraba State Chapter were involved in a road accident, claiming 3 lives. The tragic incident occurred on Wukari-Jalingo road, spefically at Zango-Kombi axis involving a Hummer bus belonging to the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Taraba chapter.
The deceased officials include Musa Ahmed Alkali, the State Auditor, Hadiza Aliyu Barau, the Zing Chairperson, and Yakubu Tanko, the Branch Chairman, while other casualties are yet to be identified.
The 3 officials were returning from an official engagement in Abuja when the unfortunate incident occurred.
