A tragic incident occurred in Plateau State following the death of a young associate pastor, less than four months after their wedding.
According to reports, the pastor known as Mr. Jepthah and his wife were joined in the holy matrimony on February 14, 2026.
However, their union was cut short when he fell briefly ill and passed away on June 4, 2026.
Until his passing, he had recently completed his studies at seminary school and was serving as an associate pastor in Marish community in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.
He was reportedly awaiting official posting as a full pastor and was known for his his dedication to ministry and service within the church.
His sudden death has left his young wife, family members, and members of his congregation in deep shock and mourning.
Condolences continue to pour in as the community mourns the loss of a promising young minister whose life and ministry were cut short.
