In celebrating Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang 60th birthday, a tricycle (Keke) rider in Jos, Plateau State, Bavuk Dokgak Ishaya, decided to give back in a special way – offering free rides to commuter all day!
Inspired by the governor’s efforts on the transport sector, Bavuk said:
“I have nothing else to give, so I filled my tank to offer free rides as my little way to appreciating him and getting people to pray for him”
Interestingly, Bavuk said he also shares the same birthday month with the governor, making his act of kindness even more meaningful.
He further praised Mutfwang’s impact on security, road infrastructure and public transport, which have made life easier for the tricycle operators like him.
