Police operatives from the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command have arrested twin brothers, Obike David, and Obike Stanley for allegedly operating an Automated Teller Machine, ATM, card theft syndicate.

The twin brothers who specializes in swapping customers ATM cards were trailed and arrested by the police on Tuesday in Abuja.

Parading the suspects before newsmen, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, the suspects execute their plans by claiming to assist unsuspecting persons who seems new to the operation of ATM machines.

The Police boss said while at it, the suspects allegedly swap their ATM cards and proceed to withdraw money from the accounts of their victims.

He said that during interrogation, they freely confessed to the crime and will be charged to court at the conclusion of the interrogations.
