UGOCHI NNANNA- Okoro Loses Father; To be Buried Today

The death has been announced of a Papal Mefalist award winner, Chief Dominic Nnanna Duraku, KSM of Umudurujinkatu, UmuOparadim in Isu LGA of Imo State at age, 94.

A release signed by the family described the late Patriarch as altruistic, accommodating, full of wisdom, bold, brilliant and strong willed.

Late Chief Dominic Duraku will be buried on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in his compound at Umudurujinkatu, UmuOparadim of Isu LGA after a requiem mass at St Michael’s Catholic Church, UmuOparadim by 12 noon.

An outing Thanksgiving service will take place on Sunday, 21st March this year at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Umudurujinkatu, Oparabadim.

Chief Dominic Duraku will for a very long time be remembered for his fearless stance against the devilish political strategy of jumping over a coffin for money and loyalty affirmation during his days as SDP leader.

He was a staunch Catholic who won the peculiar Mefalist award from the Pope and the traditional title of Udoha 1.
He was aged 94.

Left to mourn him are his 9 children among whom is Lady Barr. Ugochi Nnanna-Okoro, a foremost Honourable commissioner for Community Government Council and Traditional affairs in Imo State; a Senate Owerri zone aspirant and the former PDP women leader in the state.
