🟢Beckons On Works Commissioner, Majority Leader IMHA, Deputy Governor, Gov Uzodinma For Immediate Assistance
The Traditional Ruler of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous Community in Owerri West, Imo state Nigeria, HRH Eze Morrison Soronnadi Eke-PhD and family just dolled out five hundred (N500,000.00) thousand Naira to support the ongoing progress project in his community embarked upon by the UPA under Chief Okey Opara.
The administrative leadership of Umuoma Autonomous Community in owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria under the President General Chief Okechukwu Opara has Kick-started a heavy road project in the area.
The road project commenced few weeks after the Christmas holiday and New Year festive seasons were celebrated successfully in the area.
The PG of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community, Chief Okechukwu Opara- DIKE RI OHA NMA has put to action the developmental project of Nekede Mmiri Nkwoahia Link Road as a matter of urgency to give the three Autonomous Communities namely; Umuoma, Umudibia and Umualum Nekede ancient kingdom a heave of euphoric sigh of relief from the suffering the abandoned link road has caused the people.
Under the leadership of the PG of Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community in Owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria, there was an annual conference staged in the community to draw the attention of Ndi Umuoma Nekede to cushion the pressing dangers bedevilling the community.
The sorry situation of the mmiri nkwoahia Umuoma Nekede link road which has lingered for years, attracted alot of positive attention during the conference among other matters arising which Included security, resolve among Factional towns, instilling a formidable united front, intra kindred leadership, harmonization of women group, Youth formation, age grades, management of stranger elements and the goodwill of the generality of the residents in Umuoma Nekede.
Recall that at the Christmas annual conference held at OHA Hall Nkwonunouyo Umuoma, recorded degrees of unique resolutions endorsed to prosper the people and the land.
The road was taken into cognizance and the PG Chief Okechukwu Opara facilitated the commencement of work and promised taking up more halted projects as his point of call to serve has demanded.
PG Opara took a grounded feasibility study on the road and commenced with the remedial work on Nekede Link Road without prejudice and further delay.
Having marshalled out his leadership agenda to the people of Umuoma Nekede, Okechukwu Opara has reassured his people of his unwavering developmental policies in his time as a president general.
Okey Opara hinted that at the end of the road project, Nkwonunouyo market will take the next turn of development , renovation and improvement to a recent day standard of modern markets.
He however told the press that he is working hard in glove with Umuoma stakeholders both at home and in diaspora including the town Chairmen, Youth leaders, development partners and Women group in the area to give the best service to the community.
Recall that it was the former Executive Chairman of Owerri West from Nekede, Hon Madoka Anthony Ordu and later on Dr Collins Anah that opened this particular road on remedial basis.
Since then, series of government has come and gone but none has given a listening ear to give a state assistance to work on the dilapidated mmiri nkwoahia link road in Umuoma Nekede.
Umuoma community through the President General, Chief Okechukwu Opara is calling on the Honourable commissioner for works, their well -to-do Majority Leader IMHA Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi, Her Excellency Deputy Governor Lady Chinyere Ekomaru and His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma to please come to their immediate rescue to give the road a befitting standard.
The link bridge on this road is seriously deteriorating into another danger stage as at the time of filling this report by 9News Nigeria in Owerri.
Factually, if nothing urgent is done speedily by Imo State government to wage the looming collapse, the bridge may finally collapse and both the road and the millions of resident voters in the area will automatically be cut off from the state grid.
“Chief Okechukwu Opara as PG of the autonomous community will restore the lost dignity of the good and hospitable people of Umuoma Nekede.
In his words, “On this mandate and zeal therefore, I, my Ugoeze and royal children are supporting this noble idea of proffering immediate remedial work on the major Link road that connects the three Autonomous Communities in Nekede and in extension towards Holy sisters/ Fedponek and Ihiagwa/FUTO axis, by my PG Chief Okechukwu Opara.
“I hereby support the call by my active President General alongside my subjects to plead to the Shared Prosperity administration ably led by His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma to come to our immediate rescue to give Nekede link road and bridge a perfect touch., Eze Omadike opened up.
