The Government of Imo state through the local government caretaker committee chairman Hon. Okechukwu Enyioha has officially inaugurated Community president generals PGs in all the 10 wards of owerri west.

Umuoma Nekede Autonomous community was agog as PG Hon. Nwaneri goes to church to celebrate his appointment and Excos by Imo state government through the LGA caretaker Community chairman Hon. Okechukwu Enyioha.

The occasion took place at Ogbakoro Umudoche Umuoma Nekede, Owerri west, having many dignitaries in attendance.

At the event, His Royal Highness Eze Morrison Eke Omadike of Umuoma Nekede advised his subjects to be obedient to the rule of the state government to allow the president general APPOINTED by Imo state government to work for both Umuoma Community and the state government.

Hon. Okechukwu Enyioha in his speech maintained that Imo state government has the power over all sectors of Government including the recent appointments of president generals in various communities.

He however stated that President GENERALs have come to stay by the order of Government and Owerri west must not be left behind. President general Nwaneri was appointed to change the narrative of leadership in Umuoma to synchronize the 3R Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Hon Uche NWANERI in his welcome speech however thanked the crowds of personalities, Traditional rulers, Government appointees, Women leaders,Youth groups and revered guests for being present at the epoc making event.

The councilor of INEC ward7 in Nekede, Hon. Chikadibia Okpe was elated by the crowds of APC Party faithfuls that graced the occasion.He said that Umuoma Nekede is a great APC zone where women and YOUTHS are poised to vote for Uzodinma and his lieutenants.

All progressive congress APC party has come to stay and Nekede people are working for the political party having seen the development of projects particularly on Nekede/ Ihiagwa/Obinze road which according to the Chairman has gone half way nearly to completion.

The chairman of all the town Chairmen, Mr Ugochukwu Olekaibe and the personal assistant to Umuoma traditional ruler have stated that Umuoma has come to stay and that the new president general has come to unite AILLING groups to foster peace and progress in the land.

The Traditional prime minister Nze Sir Obinna Aharanwa and Chief Victor Osuji (Baba ukwu) in their respective statements applauded the Government of Imo state and the newly appionted PG for uniting the people.

They had cautioned the oppositions of Government directives and the flaunting of order by detractors to stay clear and obey the laws of the state government and possibly key into the 3R Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma to salvage the state.

The Newly appionted PG Uche NWANERI had went to church at Holy Trinity Anglican Church earlier today for Thanksgiving.
