U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a blistering address at the United Nations, where he tore into the global body and its member states for what he described as hypocrisy, weakness and misplaced priorities.
Trump, never one to mince words, accused the UN of bankrolling “mass migration” into the United States and Western countries, warning that the influx threatens national identity and sovereignty.
He urged European leaders to halt the spread of Sharia law and pressed all nations to reject globalism in favor of protecting their people first.
On climate policy, Trump launched an uncompromising attack, ridiculing what he called the UN’s “climate alarmism” and the “Green Scam.”
Instead, he championed fossil fuels as the backbone of modern economies, warning nations not to cripple themselves in pursuit of what he portrayed as unrealistic environmental goals.
The president also accused countries of indirectly sustaining Russia’s war effort through financial channels and condemned the UN for failing to take “meaningful action” on critical issues like biological weapons.
In a hallmark moment of his speech, Trump leaned into American exceptionalism, declaring that no other nation at the UN “comes close” to the United States in strength and achievement.
Even as he scorched the world body, Trump mocked the UN over a broken lobby escalator and a malfunctioning teleprompter during his address.
He closed with a clarion call for nations to reclaim their sovereignty: “Protect your national identity, serve your people, and end the era of unchecked migration.”
