Wife to Former spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ebonyi State Chapter, Nwoba Chika Nwoba has cried out over unknown men who allegedly stormed her house, looking her husband.
In a Facebook post on her official account, Onyinyechi Nwoba said, “Two hours ago, unknown men without uniform or id card batched into my apartment requesting for my husband’s whereabout.”
” These people can’t be identified if they are police or sars. As it stands now, our safety is at stake. If anything happens to me or any member of my family then Ebonyi state government should be questioned.”
Recall that Nwoba had alleged that Ebonyi State Government under Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru wants to arrest him.
Nwoba made this known on Monday via his official Facebook Page two weeks ago.
According to him, “I got information this afternoon that Ebonyi State Government is tracking me and using other means to come pick me up. They are already doing that.”
“That’s the only thing they can do. Pay police to pick me, arraign me in court and tell judge to deny me bail or give me bad bail conditions. They can’t do more than these. It’s a shame upon the Government of Nwifuru that it’s one person they call nobody is giving them sleepless nights. Rather than doing the right things to prove me wrong, they’re spending money to track me.”
“You have information commissioner. You have press secretary. You have special assistant on social media and others, yet they cannot stand me. It’s a shame! Just one person overwhelming your government upon all the paid praise singers around. Picking me up isn’t the case. The more you invest in picking me up is the more you are making me tougher and telling the world that your government is puerile and unproductive. Come and pick me! If picking me up will make you commission a single project since 29th May, 2023 till now, so be it. Only daft government chases its critics around. h & Alex Otti don’t have this kind of time. Only lazy governors do this.”

In 2024 Nwoba was arrested after accusing some of officials of Ebonyi State government of embezzling money meant for hawkers in the State.
