University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has suspended a lecturer, Mr Chigozie Odum, following allegations that he impregnated four students of the institution within four years of his appointment.
The suspension was officially confirmed in a statement signed by the deputy registrar, Achiuwa F, C (Mrs), on behalf of the registrar.
This incident happened around 2019/2020 but resolution to suspend him by the institution was taken weeks ago.
The development has sparked widespread reactions within and beyond the institution.
