Imo people across three senatorial zones of the state have called on the former ISOPADEC Chairman Chief Charles Orie to strengthen his actions to take over the baton from the incumbent Governor Hope Uzodinma in the upcoming governorship race.
This call was an outcome of serious tactical meetings across the three zones of Orlu, Okigwe, and Owerri over the weekend as spotted by 9News Nigeria correspondent.
The Charles Orie political grassroots campaign is a strong wind blowing to draw the consent of the generality of Ndi Imo to hand over power to such a personality of high leadership grandstanding, wide reach and possible ideology to govern Imo state come 2027.
Recall that Orie’s appointment as MD of Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), an illustrious son of Ohaji-Egbema Local Government Area and shrewd businessman of many years of standing, Chief Charles Orie showcased his witty ability and introduced an acceptable, recognizable new pattern to develop the ISOPADEC communities and make good IGR for the state.
