Imo state Governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma will today 26-07-2022, flagg-off the construction of Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia and Orlu-Mgbe-Akokwa road in the state.
The roads are seriously in bad condition and this situation has called for the governor’s attention to contract a good construction company to handle the road project and possibly expand its size as gathered by 9News Nigeria.
The roads to be commissioned particularly that of Owerri-Mbaise- Umuahia road is too narrow and have to be expanded to avoid causing accident and traffic clog.
However, all is set to flag-off the reconstruction of Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road and Orlu-Mgbee-Akokwa road today Tuesday 26th July 2022.
The flag-off ceremony has been scheduled to hold by 9:00am for the Orlu-Mgbee-Akokwa road (at Orlu Mobil Filling Station), 11:00am for the Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road, point one (at Fire Service Junction) and 1:00pm for the Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia road, point two (at Enyiogwugwu Junction).
The general public is hereby invited to witness this eppch-making event in the history of road revolution in Imo State by the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma.
At the completion of these two Federal Roads, Imo state will enjoy the benefits good roads attracts. This will be a monumental project to the Hope Uzodinma’s Administration whose interest anchors of making Imo state a model state.
