Uzodinma: Politicians Working To Disenfranchise Ndi Imo By Causing Artificial Insecurity In Imo State Cannot Be Accepted

Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma has reiterated that his government has come to return power to the people of the state while reassuring to fight insecurity orchestrated by desperate politicians and enemies of good governance headon.

The governor stated this at agathering of the All Progressives Congress (APC) liaison officers in Owerri, on Thursday.

Uzodinma reiterated his commitment to an open system of governance where power resides with the people.

While commending the Liaison officers for their consistency to the ideals of the party, the Governor stated that the failed efforts of the opposition and the politically sponsored insecurity in the State are in vain and will soon come to an end.

He assured them that his Government will provide the necessary measures for a free, fair and safe elections.

That he will not be cowed by desperate politicians working to disenfranchise Ndi Imo by causing artificial insecurity in the State.

Recall that the governor has told those politicians fuelling such artificial insecurity and unnecessary pressure to distract his adminstration and make the state ungovernable, that he will continue to fight against such demonic cultivation of the oppositions in the state without looking backwards.

He has assured all Imolites to remain safe and go about their lawful businesses while promising every Political Party of conducive and safe environment where Elections will be conducted very free and fair.

He also told the people to vote wisely of their preferred candidates and have INEC to do their official work effectively.
