Hardship in the country has bred another scheming scheme where men dress as women to scam unsuspecting men pretending to be ‘slay-queens’.
Just like the infamous Bobrisky saga, yet another individual has been exposed for engaging in fraudulent activities by assuming the identity of a woman to deceive unsuspecting men. This individual, who was apprehended by the Nigerian police, claimed to be Victor John from Olokoro, Umuahia, Abia State. The arrest serves as a reminder that deceptive practices of this nature continue to proliferate, resulting in the downfall of yet another imposter.
During an interview, the individual expressed the challenging circumstances they faced, stating, “Everywhere was dry, and I had to resort to hustling. I attended a dance show as a man.” The perpetrator’s true identity, Victor John, was disclosed, along with their place of origin, Abia State, specifically Umuahia, Olokoro.
This arrest is just one among many, as more individuals involved in such deceitful activities will be apprehended and face legal consequences. The Nigeria Police Force deserves commendation for their efforts in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment within the country. It is disheartening to witness the presence of numerous individuals in Asaba and neighboring states who continue to masquerade as the opposite gender, bringing shame upon themselves.
