In the video that was made available to 9News Nigeria, the lifeless body of Ahmed Gulak was seen lying in the pool of his own blood beside the vehicle that was commuting him to the airport.

The voice of the lady that recorded the incident was heard saying: “They just shot someone dead right now. By unknown people, in Ngwa Okpala, Obiagwu community.”

9News Nigeria gathered that former Special Adviser on Politics to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak and close friend of governor hope Uzodinma was in Imo State where he paid a courtesy visit to the Imo State Governor.

He was murdered by unknown gunmen in Owerri Imo State on his way to Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport.

The news of his death was made known by his classmate, Dr Umar Ado in a statement released to the press a few moments ago.

Recall that Gulak was the agent that was sent from ABUJA to monitor the primary congress and announced the result that brought Uzodinma to the limelight as the authentic flag bearer of the GOVERNORSHIP election held in Imo state through APC.
