Pandemonium erupted yesterday at the venue of 2020 NANS national convention, old parade ground Abuja, as heavy gunshots rocked the entire convention environment.
Information gathered by 9News Nigeria reporters shows that the convention programs were moving smoothly until some people Alleged to be delegates from Ogun State stormed the convention ground, with an unfriendly atmosphere that led to the heavy gunshots from DSS and hoodlums.
The cause of this heavy gunshots are yet to be ascertained as of the time of writing this report, but street correspondence said that it happened as a result of Hoodlums that infiltrated the Convention ground, alleged to be cultists from Ogun State.
Based on video Reports, no death has been reported as many sustained various degrees of injuries as they tried to escape from the scene of the gunshots.
Investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the exact cause of yesterday’s heavy gunshots at the NANS convention ground Abuja.
