Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has dismissed criticisms of his administration.
He stated that opposition voices stem from a lack of understanding of his government’s vision and direction.
Speaking on Thursday, the governor likened his critics to a barking dog, arguing that resistance often arises when people are unclear about leadership goals.
“The only reason a dog barks is when it does not understand. We know where we are going, and we have made every provision to ensure the journey is smooth,” Fubara said.
The governor emphasized that his administration remains committed to delivering on its mandate, stressing that all necessary structures and plans have been put in place to guarantee steady progress and effective governance in the state.
Fubara assured residents that despite political noise and distractions, his government would remain focused on development, stability, and the welfare of the people.
