What Buhari Should Do To Nnamdi Kanu Over Jibril From Sudan Saga – Ohaneze

Following the claim by the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that President Muhammad Buhari has been replaced by ‘Jubril From Sudan’, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has finally reacted to the claim.

Speaking with journalists, on Saturday, Chuks Ibegbu, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the organisation said Buhari or anyone should not kill Kanu for his claim.

Ibegbu stated that the IPOB leader has the constitutional right to express his views, though the organisation has no evidence that Buhari was Jubril from Sudan.

According to Ibegbu: “Nnamdi Kanu has the freedom and constitutional right to take positions on any national issue, he’s a Nigerian despite pursuing Biafra agenda so to say, but that does not mean we share all his views. Our position is on restructuring Nigeria, make the country a place where all constituent units will have a place of belonging and he’s is on complete secession.

“Kanu believes that Nigeria can’t be restructured because the people in charge are not sincere, he believes that there is no way Nigeria can be restructured, therefore, secession is his own option.

“We don’t have to kill him because of his view, self-expression is allowed in international law so we can’t say he should die because of his opposing view. It’s a market place of idea, look at Boko Haram, they want caliphate in the North but they are doing it violently but there is no violence from Nnamdi Kanu, so can you compare him with the insurgents that have killed over 450, 000 Nigerians?

“On Jubril, we don’t know where he got his information that Buhari is from Sudan, we don’t have any evidence that the man in Aso Rock is not Buhari.”
