Borno State Police Command has released Adamu Alhaji Ibrahim, who was arrested in connection with the murd£r£d of his 21-year-old wife, Fatima Alhaji Bukar, in Borno State.

Bukar was released on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 after police arrested a 23-year-old suspect, Abatcha Bukar, who confessed to the k!ll!ng.

Speaking at his family residence, the banker said “the truth has prevailed”, without giving any further details

“What happened was a test of my faith and it could happen to anyone,”_he said.

“I however have forgiven everyone, including those who tried to malign and tarnish my Image, I have forgiven everyone”, he added.

Adamu, who was not allowed to attend his wife funeral, later paid a poignant visit to her graveyard.
