The sacked deputy leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Uche Mefor has declared that the Anambra state election slated for November 6, 2021 “must hold”.
IPOB had insisted that the Anambra Governorship Election will not hold till referendum for an independent Biafran Republic is conducted.
Mefor took to his known Facebook page on Saturday to share his view, amid rumours of his death.
“If you like, stay in the bush, your house, or sleep on the street, election in Anambra and others must hold, and Biafrans must exercise their democratic rights. Watch and see,” Mefor wrote.
