A fresh allegations have emerged over the reported disappearance of Hon. Abdullah Ori, an aide to Senator Shehu Buba Umar, after his wife publicly appealed to the senator for help in establishing the whereabouts and circumstances surrounding her husband’s disappearance.
In a video currently circulating on social media, the woman alleged that she has not seen or been able to establish contact with Abdullahi for approximately one year.
According to her account, Abdullah was reportedly sent to Niger Republic on an assignment to search for a young man identified as Hassan Fulani.
She explained that she was initially able to communicate with her husband by telephone. However, during Ramadan, Abdullah reportedly told her that Senator Shehu Buba would travel to Niger Republic and facilitate his return home.
The woman alleged that after that communication, she lost contact with her husband and has since been unable to see him or determine what happened to him.
She further claimed that she only recently received information concerning Abdullah after Hassan Fulani reportedly came across details about his whereabouts on the English Alhaji page.
With growing concern over the matter, the woman has appealed directly to Senator Shehu Buba to intervene, help trace her husband and provide clarification regarding what may have happened to him.
The allegations have not been independently verified, and the circumstances surrounding Abdullah Ori’s reported disappearance remain unclear.
The development has consequently raised questions about the circumstances of his reported assignment to Niger Republic, his subsequent disappearance and whether relevant authorities or individuals have information that could help establish his whereabouts.
The allegation has generated concern on social media, but there is currently no independent verified evidence establishing that Abdullah Ori was sent to Niger Republic or that Senator Shehu Buba ordered such an operation.
The matter therefore requires a proper investigation by the relevant authorities to establish the facts and determine whether any criminal offence was committed.
