November 27th, 2022, The former militant leader and Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo, accused Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, of sponsoring thugs against opposition parties in Rivers State.
Asari, who made this known in a statement a few days ago also alleged that Wike is preventing other political parties from having access to space for the campaign.
He noted that these spaces are not government spaces, but traditional spaces.
Dokubo revealed that Gov. Wike is making the political space in the state unfriendly and oppressing opposition parties in the state with what he described as “illegal executive orders”
He also said that; the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Sen. Magnus Abe, has been attacked more than once in the state since campaigns began.
