In a major crackdown on arms trafficking, security forces in Plateau State have arrested two notorious gunrunners, Firdausi Hassan and Sani Musa Isa, as they embark on a journey to Zamfara State to deliver firearms to bandits.
The suspects who were caught in Barkin Ladi Local Government motor park in Plateau State with 150 firearms, confessed to having made multiple trips to Zamfara State to deliver similar firearms to bandits.
Another key player in the illicit arms trade, Alhaji Adamu Bayara, was also arrested in Pankshin region of Plateau.
