Woman Who Attacked Husband For Chatting With Girlfriends Remanded In Prison

A woman, Hafsat Ibrahim, has been remanded by Shari’a Court in Kano for hitting her husband, Jamilu Muhammad with a local pressing Iron and cutting 90 sets of his clothes to pieces

. The woman was alleged to have carried out the action after

she suspected her husband of cheating with a no other woman on his phone.

The prosecutor, Usman Shuaibu DanDala, told the Court that Hafsat injured her husband by hitting him in the head with a local Iron. Dala also explained to the Court that she used scissors to cut 90 sets of his clothes to pieces and seized his handset worth N80,000.

However, Hafsat denied the allegations.

The Khadi, Umar Sunusi DanBabi, adjourned the case to December 11 2023.
