The Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has predicted that the Super Eagles will beat Iceland in their second Group D, 2018 World Cup clash at the Volgograd Arena Stadium on Friday.
The Super Eagles, one of Africa’s representatives at the ongoing 2018 Fifa World Cup will today, confront Iceland in a crucial Group D game.
Sani, writing on his Twitter page, expressed optimism that Nigeria will move to the next round.
He said the Eagles will defeat Iceland and Argentina.
His tweet read, “I’m optimistic Super Eagles will beat Iceland, beat Argentina and move to the next round.
“The Eagle is a resilient bird.”
The Eagles head into this clash after losing 2-0 to Croatia in their first game last weekend, while the Iceland team played 1-1 draw with Argentina last Saturday.
