The chairman of Nigerian Medical Association FCT chapter, Dr Enema Amodu says that At least 20 Nigerian Doctors have died from complications arising from Corona virus in the last one week. He said this while speaking to a press on friday.
The health workers who have died in the course of treatment include consultants, professors and some resident doctors, the figures keeps increasing daily”, he stated.
He made mention that the late medical doctors contracted the disease in the course of treating infected patients who failed to disclose their true health status.
Dr Enema Amodu, however, said that patients visiting clinics and hospitals should always declare there true health status to avoid exposing doctors and other health workers at risk of infection.
