The All Progressive Congress, APC is so far gaining momentum as results for the presidential elections trickle in at the INEC collation centre, Abuja.
Results announced in seven states by their collating officers show that the APC has won six states (Ekiti, Osun, Nasarawa, Kogi, Gombe, and Kwara state) while the PDP has won one state (FCT Abuja).
The official results from different states released so far by INEC are:
Ekiti State: APC – 219,231 votes; PDP – 154,032 votes
Osun State: APC – 347,634 votes; PDP – 337,377 votes
Nasarawa State: APC – 289,903 votes; PDP – 283,847 votes
FCT Abuja: APC – 152,224 votes; PDP – 259,997 votes
Kogi State: APC – 285,894 votes; PDP – 218,207 votes
Gombe State: APC – 402,961 votes; PDP – 138,484 votes
Kwara state: APC – 308,984 votes; PDP- 138,184 votes
