APC Owerri West local government area of Imo state Nigeria has continued their ward tour to Nekede where the party Chairman and stakeholders will interact with party members at the ward level in-line with the preparation for the forthcoming general elections which has entered into the final lap.

The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State under the leadership of Hon. Macdonald Ebere, PhD, has met with the state leadership of all the accredited support groups of the party where he charged them To Be Proud Ambassadors Of The Shared Prosperity Administration.

Speaking on behalf of the party, the chairman, while welcoming the leaders of the various accredited support and solidarity groups expressed the profound gratitude of the party for their sustained loyalty and unparalleled support.

In his words “Distinguished leaders of all our accredited support groups, it’s my pleasure to welcome you all on behalf of the State Working Committee of our party to this very strategic meeting. As proud ambassadors of this party and the Shared Prosperity administration, I must commend you for your sustained support, loyalty and solidarity”.

The chairman went further to challenge them to embark on grassroots mobilization, particularly at various polling unit levels, insisting that only such commitment and visibility will justify the confidence of the party on each support group.

According to the party boss, the role of support groups in mobilization of voters for electoral success of any political party cannot be overemphasized, hence he reiterated the resolve of the party to factor in all accredited support group into the day-to-day activities of the party.

Also speaking, the South East Zonal Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Austin Onyedebelu, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Imo State chapter of the party, and particularly commended the chairman for his creative leadership skills. He however, advised members of various groups to understand the task ahead of them, which is to ensure the victory for the party in the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the various support groups, the state coordinator of all APC Support Groups, Hon. Darlington Onwuegbu, reaffirmed the resolution of his members to transverse the nooks and crannies of the state in the propagation of the gospel of the APC led -Shared Prosperity administration, as well as converting souls into the vine yard of the party.

Other members of the State Executive Committee present were- Hon. Iyke Umeh, State Organizing Secretary; Cajetan Duke, State Publicity Secretary; Hon. Ifeoma Ndiukwu, State Woman Leader; Hon. Udoka Iwueke, State Youth Leader; Hon. Mrs Gloria Onyebuagu, State Welfare Secretary; Mrs Ndidi Emeghibo, State Assistant Woman Leader, Hon Allen Enwere, Ex-officio amongst others.
