In a major political development, the President of the Senate, Godswill Obot Akpabio’ has officially handed over structure of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Akwa Ibom State to the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
The symbolic handover took place during an enlarged stakeholders meeting held at the Government House Banquet Hall in Uyo.
The event was attended by key political figures, party leaders, and supporters across the state.
Senator Akpabio, a former Governor of Akwa Ibom and prominent leader of the APC, described the gesture as strategic move to foster unity, strengthen the party, and align the state’s political leadership ahead of 2027 general elections.
