The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has argued that the APC remains the most active political party in the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on the party’s campaign activities, Yilwatda dismissed suggestions that democracy is only vibrant when opposition parties appear stronger, insisting that the APC has consistently engaged Nigerians.
“Must we lose an election before democracy is celebrated? We organise more rallies. How many times do you see the NDC or ADC holding rallies in the states? Apart from TV shows, press conferences and interviews, we go round the states almost every day,” he said.
The APC chairman pointed to the recent inauguration of the party’s National Campaign Council in Osun State as evidence of its readiness for future elections.
“We’ve inaugurated our Osun National Campaign Council. Where do you see the National Campaign Council of the other parties?” Yilwatda asked.
